Sivan Sartin

Sivan enjoys creative games and rituals that free the heart. He has a background in arts-based research, using dance and theater as tools for transforming internal and external oppression. His studies in Boalian Theatre of the Oppressed methods for transformation, Butoh Dance, and environmental education have ignited in him a burning love for community, nature, art, and spirituality. Sivan’s long-term vision is to support and facilitate explorative, nature-based curriculum and rituals with people of all ages and positionalities, ultimately nurturing the conditions for resiliency, justice, and joy. He was drawn to Wilderness Awakening because he saw and felt a harmony with his own vision in Julia’s work.

Sivan is the Co-Lead Guide of Sleep-Away Camps, Outdoor Odyssey, and leads workshops at Family Camps & more.
