The Butterfly Effect

Enter a 9 month journey to anchor yourself in an intentional cocoon to reach new states of flight in your spirit. This is a course designed to uplift you through our time of transformation- both personal and cultural at large.

Led into this work through a retreat I co-lead in June (Wild Women: Alchemizing Passion & Harmony in Work), I seek to further this deep dive into what Charles Eisenstein distinguishes, The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible. In a time where we can easily be discouraged by social occurrences near and far, this program serves as an intentional container to drop into our limitless hearts, creative minds, and weave community surrounding our own transition as successful leaders in the fields which we connect to.

Drawing from my educational background in Sociology & Cultural Studies, with an emphasis on Social Economy, participants of the Butterfly Effect will learn about inspiring projects from around the globe.

As an artist and strong proponent of Holistic Health, this offering weaves the arts with nature immersion & somatic practices to strengthen our mental, spiritual, and physical well-being necessary to integrate and spark our wild awakened intuition and deeper states of awareness to guide the changes we want to make for the generations to come.

This program consists of 8 evening sessions held in my sacred home in St. Anthony Park, St. Paul, and concludes with a four day retreat held at Samsara Ridge, our retreat space in St. Croix Falls, WI.

Julia has led a life following threads of magic! As an adult, she has sought out spaces that bring connection and well-being to the body mind and soul. Her background includes trainings of breath work, Reiki and Tantra Yoga & Yoga Nidra. She left the classroom to embark on her own offerings through Wilderness Awakening- leaning into her heart to support a deepened connection with the earth, one another and oneself through workshops, youth camps and retreats. She weaves mindfulness, naturalist studies, art and ritual into all her offerings. Julia has extensively participated in rituals and gatherings such as red tents, 13 moon rituals, Spirit Weavers, Moon Dance and Kirtan. She completed the personal development program, Landmark Curriculum for Living in 2015. In 2020 Julia and her husband Doug Beasley purchased a 45 acre property to host retreats and workshops. They named it Samsara Ridge, honoring the cycles of life abound. This is a life-long passion project, and she is thrilled to collaborate with powerful sisters to offer these inspired programs.

She is most enlivened when creating ritual sanctuary space with other sisters in peaceful natural surroundings.
